“A Common Word Between Christians and Muslims”

Our speaker will be Fatih Ferdi Ates, Director of the (BAYCC)/Pacifica Institute in Northern California. Fatih will speak on the common roots of Christianity and Islam, and our joint call to work for good in the world. From Pacifica Institute’s website: “Pacifica Institute’s mission is to develop social capital—the creation and extension of positive connections within and between disparate social networks to achieve mutual understanding and common commitments to enriching the social good in the Western US States.”

Please bring food to share. If you are bringing a dish with pork, please label it, out of respect to the Muslim neighbors who will be joining us.

All are welcome.
