On this Third Sunday of Advent we’ll hear the prophetic voices of Isaiah and Mary, the mother of Jesus, and we’ll rejoice with Mary and Elizabeth in what God has done and will do as they teach us about trusting in God’s promises and embracing joy as an act of resistance.
We’ll enjoy Special Music this Sunday from Susan Russell, Mae Mars, and Rev. Jen Chapman, as well as from our Choir, with guest cellist, Alex Kelly, directed by Jeffrey Frederich Paul, and our accompanist, Tim K. Murphy. Rev. Jen Chapman will preach and lead the service, and Dudley Thompson will serve as liturgist. Childcare will be available during the service for children ages 2 and up.
