On this Second Sunday of Advent we’ll hear from prophets John the Baptist and Malachi about the ways that make for peace. We’ll also hear about peace as propaganda and wrestle with the reality that disruption is sometimes necessary for the peace of God’s Realm to come.
We’ll celebrate communion and enjoy special music this Sunday from guest soloist Martin Bell, our choir, directed by Jeffrey Frederich Paul, and our pianist, Tim K. Murphy. Rev. Jen Chapman will preach and lead the service, and Nick Crump will serve as liturgist. Childcare will be available during the service for children ages 2 and up.
