In-Person/Live-Stream Worship: "Near & Far"

  • Arlington Community Church 52 Arlington Avenue Kensington, CA, 94707 United States (map)

This Sunday as students, teachers, and staff head back to school, and as we look and listen to what's happening in our communities and around the world, we'll take a little time to consider God's question in Jeremiah 23:23, "Am I a God nearby, and not a God far off?" We'll bless those headed off to school and do a service project, packing kits for Church World Service, so the nearness of God can be felt somewhere far off where people are in need of help.

We'll also enjoy music from the ACC Ensemble this Sunday, with a fun surprise in the line up that you might recognize if you've been around kids this summer! (Hint: It's from a Netflix movie, and it's K-Pop!) Rev. Jen Chapman will lead worship and offer a brief reflection, and Elena Caruthers will serve as Liturgist. Childcare will be available for children ages 2 and up.

If you're bringing kids, don't forget their backpacks!
