On this 9th Sunday after Pentecost, we gather to celebrate the victorious love of God. This love has been made known to us through Jesus Christ, and through people who embody Christ’s self-giving love in our lives. Living in this Way sometimes leads to suffering, but in Romans 8:26-39, Paul reminds us of the victorious nature of love that endures.
We’ll enjoy an Offertory on the organ this week by Desmond Hartigan-O'Connor. Tim. K. Murphy will provide the Prelude and Postlude and lead us through our hymns. Ruth Robinson will serve as liturgist and Rev. Jen Chapman will preach and lead the service. Childcare will be available during the service for children ages 2 and up.
