On this Service Project Sunday we’re putting the Word into action, assembling Church World Service Hygiene Kits! There will be a way for everyone to help, with options for those who need or prefer to sit while working. And we’ll send the assembled kits back to Church World Service who will distribute them to disaster victims and communities in need. Before we begin, we’ll be reminded by Isaiah that God’s house of prayer is meant for all peoples, and consider a call to "Cheerful Compassion” from Romans 12:1-8.
The ACC Ensemble, directed by Tim K. Murphy, will provide us with wonderful music throughout the service. Dudley Thompson will serve as liturgist and Rev. Jen Chapman will lead the service. We will not have childcare this Sunday as children will remain in the service and help with the service project.
