Calming Music, Quiet, & Candlelight
In this season of cheer, some of us long for a space where we can be present to our grief, whether that grief is personal or on behalf of the suffering of our world. During the Longest Night vigil we will make space for that grief, acknowledge our fears, and lean into hope.
On the evening of Winter Solstice, Sunday, Dec. 21st, at 4:30pm, all are invited to gather in our Social Hall, where we’ll watch the sunset and begin the longest night of the year in community. This will be an evening of calming music, quiet, and candlelight, lighting candles for those we’re missing and those we’re remembering in prayer, letting our hope grow even as the light of day fades to night. The evening will include an opportunity to walk the labyrinth.
