In-Person/Live-Stream Worship: “Thirsting in the Wilderness”

  • Arlington Community Church 52 Arlington Avenue Kensington, CA, 94707 United States (map)

On this Third Sunday of Lent we’ll explore the intersection of creation justice and other justice issues. We’ll hear from Terry Lovett, a local mother turned activist after her son, Jalani, died during his incarceration. As the Israelites thirsted in the wilderness and the Samaritan woman longed for living water, we too will lean into our longings for justice and life.

We’ll enjoy special music this Sunday from our Choir, and a duet by Elise Cheval and our music director, Jeffrey Frederick Paul, accompanied by Tim K. Murphy. Sara Laferte will serve as Liturgist, and Rev. Jen Chapman will lead the service.Childcare will be available during the service for children ages 2 and up.
