On Thursday evening, April 11, we're inviting our community to join us for a food truck fundraiser benefiting the Black Wealth Builders Fund. This event will give us an opportunity to spread awareness about BWB and also to connect with our neighbors. Come enjoy the good food and say hello to someone new. Or maybe invite a friend or neighbor!
Southern Jazz Kitchen is a Black owned food truck coming out to help support the event. 20% of proceeds will go to BWB. There will also be free ice cream for anyone who makes an additional donation!
At 6pm we will have speakers from RCF Connects and Richmond Neighborhood Housing Services. We're hoping we'll get to hear from a loan recipient as well! Be sure to put this exciting event on your calendar, and pick up some flyers on Sunday to help spread the word!
