Faith Formation Fourth Friday Fireside Film Festival: Life of Pi

  • Arlington Community Church 52 Arlington Avenue Kensington, CA, 94707 United States (map)

On Friday, April 26 Faith Formation will present its monthly film offering, Life of Pi in the ACC Fireside Room.

"Life of Pi," directed by Ang Lee, is a visually stunning adventure film based on Yann Martel's novel. The story follows Pi Patel, a young Indian boy who survives a shipwreck and is stranded on a lifeboat in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. As Pi struggles to survive, he forms a remarkable and unexpected bond with the majestic animal. Through breathtaking cinematography and profound storytelling, "Life of Pi" explores themes of spirituality, survival, and the power of storytelling.

Please plan to arrive around 1:30 to allow time to visit and settle in to watch the two-hour film starting at 1:45. Of course there will be popcorn and lemon water to enjoy during the film and an after-film discussion.
